Have you just found out you’re a QuestBridge finalist but your dream school didn’t match up? Breathe easy, you’re not out of luck just yet! Being a finalist is a fantastic accomplishment, and while it may feel a bit disheartening to not get matched, let’s explore what your options are moving forward.

Quick Answer: You can apply through Regular Decision using your QuestBridge application.

If you’re selected as a QuestBridge Finalist but don’t get matched, don’t worry! You still have a second chance. You can leverage your National College Match application to apply through QuestBridge’s Regular Decision process. This means you can still apply to up to 12 partner colleges, giving you more opportunities to find the right fit for your college journey.

Additionally, being a finalist opens doors to remarkable colleges that may still consider you for financial aid and scholarships, even if you decide not to rank schools. Keep in mind that it’s essential to check each college’s individual policies regarding the Regular Decision process, as they can vary. So, make sure you’re staying on top of those deadlines and application requirements!

In conclusion, not being matched as a QuestBridge finalist is not the end of your college dreams. It’s merely a detour on your path to higher education! You still have opportunities to showcase your talents and gain admission to a fantastic college. If you have any questions about navigating this process or seeking more resources, come and join the JobLoving community where we’re all about success and guidance!
