Instructor of Business Law, Department of Finance and Insurance

The Department of Finance & Insurance of the Ball State University Miller College of Business is accepting applications for a full-time,
contract faculty position. This position is to begin August 18, 2017.

Major responsibilities: Teach undergraduate courses on campus and/or online; engage in professional activities and/or
scholarship relevant to teaching responsibility; serve on committees; and contribute professional service to the university.

Minimum qualifications: Juris Doctorate or related law degree from an accredited college or university; evidence of
potential for teaching business law courses.

Preferred qualifications: Relevant professional experience related to the legal environment of business, prior teaching
experience in business law, and potential for teaching real estate and insurance law.

Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
