Accountable for: Level 3: Director of Library and Information Services, Director of Learning Enhancement, Director of Student Services, Director of Employability Level 4: Welsh Language Provision Manager, Chaplain

The Role:
The Pro Vice-Chancellor Student Engagement will develop and deliver an outstanding student experience by enhancing the University’s reputation in relation to student recruitment and retention and ensuring that all students are provided with an excellent university experience at the leading ‘edge’ of education, engagement and employability.

Building on the successes of the University’s first 150 years, the PVC Student Engagement will be part of a team tasked with positioning Cardiff Metropolitan as a truly global university that meets the economic, civic and international needs of Wales and the wider world. The post-holder will be responsible for the University’s strategic approach to learning and teaching, academic quality, graduate employability and all aspects of student support services designed to deliver a truly excellent student experience.
