Part Time Project Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £14,739 to £16,577 per annum (pro rata to FTE of £24,565 to £ 27,629 per annum) together with NEST benefits.

The ASTUTE 2020 (Advanced Sustainable Manufacturing Technologies) operation is designed to stimulate growth in West Wales and the Valleys by applying advanced engineering technologies to manufacturing challenges. This multi-million pound project aims to enable projects with manufacturing companies, to generate sustainable, higher value goods and services and bring them to a global market. The operation is led by Swansea University, in collaboration with a number of other Universities across Wales. ASTUTE 2020 has been part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Welsh Government and the participating Higher Education Institutions.

The main focus of the role will be to provide administrative support to the ASTUTE 2020 Strategic Technology Manager including preparation of records and reports. In order to provide effective administration, the post holder will be expected to be formally qualified or experienced in project administration. The role holder will also be required to offer support in marketing the Operation and therefore excellent communication skills both written and oral will be essential to this role.

This is a fixed term position from 24th April 2017 for 9 months in the first instance, with the potential to be extended for a further 3 months depending on funding.
