As a Subject Librarian you will be supporting three renowned and dynamic departments; Anthropology; Media, Communications & Cultural Studies; and Sociology. You will be the person who builds relationships with these departments and students to contribute to the teaching and learning experience at Goldsmiths. You will also work closely with other teams within the library to develop inspiring and innovative services that enhance the library offer.

As part of the Subject Team, you will develop and deliver teaching in digital literacies, exploring new approaches and identifying opportunities for collaboration. You will also expand our research support offer to postgraduate students and our academic community. In response to departmental needs you will develop our print, online and audio visual collections.

We are looking for a confident, organised and enthusiastic person to fill this varied and exciting role. You will need to be an inspiring and supportive team member, with the ability to work in an ever changing environment. You will have a passion for learning, excellent communication and negotiation skills and a resourceful nature.

You’ll need to have substantial experience in academic libraries, but it’ll be your ability to build strong and effective relationships with departments and to bring new experience and ideas to the team that will really make you stand out.
