The Role

The QAE team are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and competent administrator to support the delivery of quality assurance in a faculty setting. Whilst a member of the QAE team you will be embedded in the Faculty of Business & Law and will support the Faculty Assistant Registrar to implement the University’s QAE processes and procedures in an efficient way.

The Person

You will have sound administrative experience, excellent organisational skills, good communication skills and be IT literate. You will be a good team player and enjoy working in a busy and varied environment. You will also have good attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

The Faculty / Department

The Academic Registry is responsible for supporting Senate and its sub-committees, for maintaining the University’s academic regulations and for overseeing academic policies and procedures, and for supporting quality and standards in the University’s academic provision, including that delivered by collaborative partners. The department is also responsible for timetabling all teaching activities across the University campuses in liaison with faculties and ensuring the smooth running of examinations across the university. The Academic Registry also administers student academic appeals at the formal level.
