Applications are invited for a Clinical Research Fellow to support the development of a major new Centre within the Institute of Dentistry. The post holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, scientists, nurses and support staff within a newly established Centre for Oral Clinical Research, providing clinical research support for studies relating to periodontology, Implant dentistry, Peri-implantitis and Tissue regeneration. The post holder will be reporting to the Professor of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry.

Applicants must have full registration with the General Dental Council and will have demonstrable clinical research experience in a relevant field.

This part time post is fixed term until 11th December 2017, starting as soon as possible.

Starting salary will be in the range £33,084 – £60,283 (pro rata) per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days’ annual leave (pro rata) defined benefit pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

The post is a result of maternity leave and it is expected that the successful candidate will hold it for the full period. However, should the post-holder on maternity leave exercise her right to return to work earlier, then this appointment will be terminated earlier, subject to a notice period of one month.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
