Applications are invited for a temporary post of Teaching Fellow in Urban & Regional Planning within the UCD School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy.

The School of Architecture, Planning and Environmental Policy at University College Dublin seeks to appoint a temporary teaching fellow in Urban & Regional Planning. The appointee will be expected to undertake undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and supervise assignments and dissertations by masters students. We are seeking a scholar who has extensive experience in related academic disciplines or who has completed or is near to completing a PhD in Planning or related field and is actively seeking to publish in peer reviewed academic outlets. The teaching fellow will diversify and enhance the academic activity carried out by other colleagues in the School and will work collaboratively with them in the delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

The successful candidate will be required to contribute to teaching in the following subject areas: Community Development and Planning, Plan Making studio, Urban design studio and History of Planning.

Salary (non – scale): €31,820 – €35,355 per annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
