Ireland – Research Manager at National Cancer Registry

The National Cancer Registry wishes to recruit a Research Manager to lead its programme of research. This is an opportunity for an established researcher to carry forward and develop our large, well-established and varied research programme in cancer epidemiology and health services research (see http://www.ncri.ie/research/projects).

The successful candidate should have a primary degree in a scientific or allied discipline and a PhD in epidemiology, statistics, health services research or a similar/related subject. She/he will also have a record of success in securing substantial grant funding, ideally having been Principal Investigator on at least one major successful application. Experience in supervising post-doctor and doctoral researchers is essential, and experience in primary data collection would be desirable.

Interested candidates must provide details of relevant experience and qualifications for this post with particular reference to the criteria set out above as well as a list of peer reviewed publications.

This is a permanent pensionable and wholetime post based in Cork and is available immediately.
