The post holder will develop an independent research programme that investigates the mechanisms of tumour dissemination. They will have responsibility for acquiring external grant funding to directly support their own scientific research programme while also contributing scientific and disciplinary expertise to additional investigator-led research programmes within the Centre. Candidates with a strong interest in modelling and addressing the genetic basis underlying the metastasis of solid tumours and/or the identification of novel therapeutic opportunities to abrogate metastasis are strongly encouraged to apply.
