The mission of the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) is to safeguard and improve the quality of UK higher education wherever it is delivered around the world.
We are looking for a dynamic and well-informed Standards & Frameworks Manager to lead the development and management of QAA’s functions in relation to external reference points on quality and standards.
This is an exciting time in the development of new regulatory frameworks across the UK and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and promotion of baseline regulatory requirements for quality in UK higher education and associated guidance for education providers and other stakeholders.
Previous experience of successfully managing teams, working in a higher education provider and policy research, development and implementation are essential. You should have an excellent understanding of the UK higher education sector and content, role and practical application of the baseline requirements for quality in UK higher education.
The successful candidate will have good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple work streams, and be able to develop and maintain strong, effective and supportive working relationships, both internally and externally.
This a full-time, permanent role based in our Gloucester office. Travel around the UK (and sometimes overseas) will be required.
