We are looking for an outstanding individual keen to develop a role in academia which may also complement the continued development of a clinical role. The launch of the new MPharm undergraduate programme in Sept 2015 at the University of Bath has led to an innovative new curriculum and significant changes in the design, development and delivery of learning for student pharmacists. This fixed term appointment is for up to 2 years commencing in January 2018 and will work with the Pharmacy Practice teaching team to support the teaching and learning of our MPharm students across a range of units.

The successful individual would be required to cover a range of face to face teaching activities and elements of assessment. There is also a requirement to support the academic development of the programme and to provide pastoral support to individual students including supporting problem based learning.

This post is a 0.6FTE (21.9 hours per week) appointment fixed for up to a 2 year period and would suit a pharmacist wishing to develop a role in academia. We welcome applicants who wish to do this as a part-time role, those who wish to maintain a clinical commitment in their non-University hours or also those who may wish for support in looking for partner organisations to make this post full time.
