A70214A – Demonstrator at Newcastle University

We seek to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Demonstrator in Psychology to join our undergraduate teaching team in the School of Psychology. This is an exciting time to be joining the School as we build on our highly successful NSS results. You will play a crucial role in Research Methods teaching on undergraduate degrees in Psychology. The role includes a deputy role in the leadership of the demonstrating team of the school.

The School currently offers an established portfolio of BPS accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

You will hold a first (or higher) degree conferring eligibility for Graduate Basis of Chartered Membership with the British Psychological Society.

You should have the ability to effectively teach in laboratory classes, supervise under-graduate students and contribute to tutorials and assessment.

It is expected that the candidate will take up post around August 2017 or soon after, and to register for a PhD unless already a PhD holder.
