The Role
We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer to a full-time, confirmation path position. In this role, you will contribute to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, develop an active research programme, and supervise postgraduate research students.
The successful candidate will have a PhD qualification, a commitment to ongoing research, and experience in teaching. We welcome applications from recent PhD graduates as well as applicants with research interests in any area of computer science. Consideration will be given to how the applicant’s research interests interact with areas of expertise in the department and with the department’s strategic plans.
Applicants must be dedicated to providing high quality teaching, have demonstrated their ability to convey complex information and thrive on providing a classroom experience that facilitates a high level of engagement with students of all levels.

Your Skills and Experience
- PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- Aptitude for effective teaching at tertiary level.
- Ability to carry out and publish research in high quality outlets.
- Evidence of an ability to work well with students and staff from differing academic and cultural backgrounds and at all levels of the institution.
