This is an outstanding opportunity for an inspirational and entrepreneurial leader, who has a solid track record in one of the disciplines of finance, economics or marketing, to provide leadership and foster excellence in research, teaching, industry engagement and professional activities within the School, College, University and the community.
Reporting to the PVC (Business) & Vice President, the Head of School will provide academic leadership across the three disciplines of the School as well as contributing as an active member of the College Executive. The Head will ensure the provision of a quality learning and research environment, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation across the School, College and wider University and pursue opportunities for industry partnerships both domestically and internationally.
With a PhD in a relevant discipline and a record of achievement in research and publication that meets the University’s Professorial criteria, the appointee will demonstrate the ability to develop and implement successful vision and business plans for the School, which align with the College and University strategic plans. Professional standing in an area relevant to the School and capacity to build and foster demand for industry-relevant programs will be critical along with a demonstrated capacity to lead change.
