Associate Professor, School of Psychology at Deakin University

ABOUT THE ROLE

The School of Psychology are seeking to make a teaching and research leadership appointment in the area of internalising disorders, with a focus on depression, anxiety, and self-harm/suicide or body image/eating disorders.

This will include:

• Program and course development, maintenance and delivery, ensuring relevance and curriculum quality.
• Leading and making an outstanding contribution to the Faculty’s undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs that is consistent with the University’s Strategic Planand core commitments.
• Making an outstanding contribution to research and scholarly publication in one of the School or Faculty’s areas of researchstrength.
• Attaining recognition at a national andinternational level in the psychology/internalising disorders discipline.

ABOUT YOU  

• PhD in a relevant field (or equivalent).
• A record of excellent achievement in teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• A record of excellent achievement in teaching and supervision at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Demonstrable academic leadership and professional expertise in the field of psychology/internalising disorders.
