Faculty Job in Academic & University Department of Employment and Labor Relations – Temporary Faculty
The Department of Employment and Labor Relations at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) invites
-applicants for anticipated part-time, temporary faculty position for 2017-2018 Academic Year.
Department of Employment and Labor Relations is a graduate program offering an M.A. degree in Employment and Labor Relations. Teaching one
course at both the undergraduate and graduate level, including the use of distance education technology, student advisement, plus commitment
to scholarly work and community service are required. There is a possibility of teaching at off-campus sites and/or through distance

applicant must have an appropriate doctorate (Ph.D. or D.Ed.) at time of appointment. Applicants with a J.D. will be considered if the
candidate possesses teaching experience at the graduate level. Preference will be given to applicants whose education, teaching,
professional experience, and demonstrated expertise is in the fields of employment/labor relations and human resource management. Preference
will also be given to candidates who have demonstrated experience in recruitment, organizing events, supporting student groups and providing
advisement to students.
The department seeks candidates whose teaching, research, or services has prepared them to

well during the interview(s).
The work of this position occurs in a typical
office environment. Although infrequent, periods of heavy exertion may occur. Incumbent must have the following abilities:
- Ability to travel to field locations and meeting/training sites by motor vehicle when required.
- Communicate both orally and in
writing to issue, receive and carry out instructions and orders effectively and to convey information to a variety of co-workers and the
