ROLE of the POSITION
UNLV Lee Business School is a leading public business school with a reputation for a strong
commitment to scholarship, teaching, and engagement with the Las Vegas business community. We invite applications from aspiring and
accomplished teaching faculty in business law and taxation to join the faculty of the Lee Business School in the Department of Accounting.
This position is a nine-month, non-tenure track appointment plus the possibility additional opportunities for summer teaching. Teaching
responsibilities include undergraduate business law, law for accountants, and taxation courses. Faculty responsibilities in addition to
teaching include development, review, and assessment of related learning outcomes, development of courses and programs, service on Lee
Business School and Department of Accounting committees, and engagement with students, faculty, and the Las Vegas business and legal
communities. This position will begin in August 2018.

QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA accredited law school to teach
business law, law for accountants, and taxation courses. Preference will be given to applicants with prior university-level teaching
experience and L.L.M. and / or an accounting background with a Certified Public Accountant license. Candidates must demonstrate the
potential for excellence in teaching and service. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate the ability to provide intellectual
contributions and scholarship and to those with established record of excellent teaching and service to a business school community. The Lee
Business School and the Department of Accounting are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and all
applicants must meet or exceed the minimum guidelines to be qualified, participating faculty.

SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
