Position Summary or Faculty Qualifications

Saint Joseph’s University, Department of Accounting in the Haub School of
Business invites applications for an anticipated tenure-track opening to begin August 2018, pending Board Approval. Applicants with a
specialty in Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting and/or Tax will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, be actively involved in academic research, and provide service to the profession and the
university. Primary responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching in Accounting, as well as research.

Minimum
Requirements:

  • ABD in Accounting or a closely related field by August 15, 2018.
  • Demonstrated evidence of quality or potential quality in teaching and researching
  • Understanding of and commitment to the
    mission of Saint Joseph’s University

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Terminal Degree in Accounting or closely
    related field by August 15, 2018
  • C.P.A.
