Faculty Job in Academic & University Adjunct Instructors – School of Business and Accounting

Monroe College offers Certificate, Associate, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degree programs. It has campuses in the Bronx, New Rochelle, and the
Caribbean nation of St. Lucia, with programs offered through its Schools of Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Nursing, Education,
Business & Accounting, Hospitality Management & Culinary Arts, and Allied Health Professions, as well as through its general
education and continuing education offerings.

Monroe College is seeking adjunct instructors in each of the schools
and for general education courses. Positions are available for teaching on Monroe’s Bronx and New Rochelle campuses and for teaching online.

Adjuncts are responsible for instruction, course preparation, developing instructional materials, grading and assessment, and professional
responsibilities as a member of the instructional team of a school or academic department.


  • A minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant field of study from an
    accredited college or university. Doctoral degree preferred at all levels, and required for teaching at the graduate level.
  • Professional experience related to the field of study
  • College-level teaching experience preferred
  • Experience using a
    learning management system, such as Blackboard
