PROVOST AND VICE PRESIDENT OF ACADEMIC & STUDENT AFFAIRS

Delaware County Community College (The College)
is seeking a dynamic leader for the position of Provost and Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs. The Provost and Vice President
of Academic & Student Affairs is a critical member of the Senior Leadership Team and reports directly to the President.

The
Provost and Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs is expected to provide academic and administrative leadership to achieve the
College’s mission and strategic goals by effectively ensuring the strategic planning, development, execution, and overall quality of the
College’s academic programs and student services. The Provost and Vice President of Academic & Student Affairs works collaboratively
with others to cultivate strong working relationships with faculty, staff, students, and stakeholders to promote student success with the
use of data, evaluation, promising/best practices, continuous improvement, shared governance, and a myriad of student success strategies.

Candidates should possess an earned doctorate degree from an accredited college or university; a minimum of seven (7) to ten
(10) years of teaching and academic administrative experience in a higher education environment with at least five (5) years at a senior
academic administrative level; demonstrated leadership exemplified by the successful implementation of student success initiatives;
demonstrated commitment to diversity in programs and personnel, including, administrators, faculty, staff and students; demonstrated
commitment to collaboration and transparency; and experience with a multi-campus community college environment is strongly preferred, as
well as demonstrated success working in a collaborative manner with faculty represented by a union.

A two-year community
college in the Philadelphia area, founded in 1967, the College has grown to serve approximately 24,000 credit and non-credit students each
year in Delaware and Chester Counties. With nine locations that offer a total of 28 associate degrees, 23 transfer degrees, and 35
certificate programs, the College offers day, evening and weekend options including on-campus, hybrid and online courses.

The
College has been recognized as an Achieving the Dream Leader College, and for eight years in a row has been named a “Great College to Work
For” by The Chronicle of Higher Education.
