Job Description:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each

1) Provides customer service to promote
sales in the campus bookstore.

2) Assists customers in locating merchandise.

3) Stocks merchandise and helps to
maintain a clean and organized retail floor.

4) Greets customers with enthusiasm and a smile.

5) Assists
customers with product selection and general questions.

6) Provides sales floor support.

7) Stocks merchandise

8) Operates cash register.

9) Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and predictable attendance and
works overtime as required to meet workload demands.

10) Performs other related duties as required.

Physical Demands:
The incumbent of this position typically exhibits the physical demands identified in the Functional Job Analysis
on file in the College’s Human Resources Department and which is periodically reviewed and updated. Physical demands listed in the
Functional Job Analysis are not job qualification standards, but are used to help the College assess and determine reasonable accommodations
for otherwise qualified individuals covered by the American’s with Disabilities Act.

Working Conditions:

Standard retail environment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of: standard retail and merchandising
practices and procedures, computer, basic mathematics, and general knowledge of loss prevention guidelines. Skill in: verbal and written
communications; strong interpersonal skills; operation of general office equipment, including cash register; general clerical practices;
maintaining and promoting good public relations. Ability to: interact effectively with customers and deliver excellent customer service;
work as a team in a busy retail environment, develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, students, and guests of
the college; adhere to the policy and procedures; handle details; manage and operate cash register.

Minimum Qualifications:

State Motor Vehicle Operator’s License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
