This is a renewable appointment.

Degree and area of specialization
Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Marketing or related field.

Minimum number of years and type of relevant work experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience planning/executing
large donor/VIP events and experience in higher education advancement and alumni relations required. Experience working with student
fundraising campaigns strongly preferred.

  • Written and verbal communication
    skills and time management skills
  • Experience with volunteer management in higher education or non- profit setting
  • Experience planning small and large size events of various types
  • Experience managing fundraising or marketing campaigns
  • Experience interacting with high-profile donors and VIPs
  • Experience with events management
  • Experience successfully
    negotiating service and venue contracts
  • Strong knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
    Experience working in database management and/or use of Microsoft Access.
  • Working knowledge of advanced features of MS Office
    Suite, photo editing software and website development tools.

Position Summary
This position reports
directly to the Director of Alumni and Corporate Relations and works closely with the Sr. Associate Director of Alumni Relations and members
of the WFAA development team, WSB program offices, and other key stakeholders on the execution of alumni engagement and campaign strategies.
