Required Education

Posting Summary

This position is responsible for assisting the Office of University Compliance in achieving its mission
and goals. Primary duties include, but are not limited to, providing leadership and coordinating the University’s Clery Act compliance
programs for the main and off-campus sites to ensure full compliance with Federal, State, and other requirements; facilitating the activity
and training of campus security authorities; preparing and publishing the Annual Security and Fire Safety Report and resubmitting crime data
to the Department of Education; staying abreast of changes to the Clery Act and other laws and regulations affecting Clery provisions and
work with various institutional stakeholders on Clery Act requirements; serving as the records custodian for all Clery Act associated
records; working with the University Police Department and the Office of Public Relations to coordinate the University’s Timely Warnings and
Emergency Notifications; monitoring compliance activities throughout the University to provide assurances that activities are working to
prevent and/or detect non-compliance and unethical activities under little or no supervision; conducting reviews and spot checks in high
risk areas to ensure University processes, controls and operational results are in compliance with applicable laws regulations, policies and
procedures related to compliance risks; working with team members and assisting in the development of compliance officers by providing
feedback regarding performance and identifying and providing appropriate training, coaching, and support.
