Posting Summary

This position is responsible for assisting the Men’s Head Track Coach with day to day team operations
and management. The coaching duties will cover all areas including Cross Country, Distance, High Jumps, and Throwing events, etc. The
primary duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the Head Coach in team management on and off the field, and through organizing and
administering of an appropriate pre-season, season, and post-season schedule, and coaching as necessary for a competitive quality program;
assisting in ordering of apparel and equipment for the team; assisting in recruiting of athletes for the program; adhering to and monitoring
compliance of all NCAA and Conference rules and regulations; reporting of any violations to the proper officials
and will help to ascertain that the program is administered and conducted in compliance to the policies and procedures established by all
governing properties, NCAA, SWAC, TAMUS, and PVAMU; attending all coaches meetings, rules trainings, workshops, clinics and conferences to keep informed of
information relating to athletics and especially to the sport of track and field.
