Based in the Student Recruitment Office (SRO), the successful applicant will be working as part of the busy student recruitment team: due to the nature of the language specialisation, in collaboration with SRO management, the successful candidate will frequently work on their own initiative, having principal responsibility for Welsh-medium recruitment activities.
The successful candidate will possess have a good honours degree or equivalent qualification, and will have a high standard of oral and written Welsh language skills. Good interpersonal skills will be required, as well as ability in copywriting and proofreading.
The purpose of the post is to foster good relationships with schools and colleges and to enable the undertaking of Welsh-Medium recruitment and related marketing activity within the SRO.
The role requires flexibility of approach, initiative, resilience and the ability to work at weekends and out of hours, on a regular basis.
