Salary:

£39,324 to £46,924 per annum (pro-rata if part time) together with USS pension benefits, if required.

The normal expectation is that the successful applicant will be appointed to the minimum of the scale with annual increments on 1 October each year (subject to completing six months service).
APM Grade 9.

This is a permanent position.

Main Purpose of the Post

Based in the Change Management Team within PSPU, the main purpose of this role is to lead and shape change management initiatives to further the advancement of the University.

The role is critical in ensuring change management projects meet agreed objectives and are delivered on time and within budget, whilst maximising stakeholder adoption and successful delivery.

The successful candidate will have strong emotional intelligence, exemplary communication skills, political awareness and the ability to work with and influence senior stakeholders. The role also requires strong project management, and will be outcome driven.

The role operates in an environment where diplomacy, confidentiality and discretion are paramount, requiring sound judgement about the appropriate courses of action. The workload is varied, challenging and stimulating, requiring personal organisation, flexibility and an ability to work to deadlines.
