To support Cardiff University by specifically raising the profile of the College of Biomedical and Life Science by gathering newsworthy stories and proactively pitching them to local, national and international journalists. As a result, relationships with key journalists across a range of specialist areas will be built and maintained.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Communications, the Senior Communications Officer will act as the Communications team’s central link to the College of Biomedical and Life Sciences, providing advice, guidance and support on all things related to communications and media relations. Additionally, they will play a key role in delivering University-wide communications campaigns within the central communications team.
This post is full-time and open-ended.
Salary: £33,199 – £39,609 per annum (Grade 6)
