The mission of the UK Dementia Institute is to find novel therapies to prevent and treat dementia in the UK. The laboratory of Prof. Vincent Dion is looking to recruit an independent Senior Research Fellow to further the development novel therapeutic approaches to expanded CAG/CTG repeat disorders, including Huntington disease, using (epi) genome editing.
The successful candidate will have established expertise and a proven portfolio of research, proven substantial record of publications in high-impact journals and a proven ability to attain competitive research funding along with a strong portfolio of research grants.
This post is full time (35 hours per week), available from the 1st February 2019 and is fixed term until 31st August 2022
Salary £42,036 – £48,677 per annum (Grade 7)
