We seek to recruit an enthusiastic highly motivated scientist with proven intellectual and technical abilities to work on a Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC)-funded synthetic biology / biological chemistry project.
The overall objective of this research will be to develop a novel tool to allow for the traceless delivery of proteins into mammalian cells and simultaneously control their spatiotemporal activation with light.
Applicants must possess a PhD in Biological/Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry or a closely related area.
