Free open Job in Wales Research Associate at Cardiff University
As part of our MRC and ESRC Global Challenges Research Fund Foundation Award, we are looking to appoint a motivated and dynamic postdoctoral scientist to work on our project testing new tablet-based online cognitive tests as early diagnostic markers of dementia in low-to-middle-income countries. The applicant will work with a research assistant, supporting piloting and data analysis of cognitive tasks included in our new research app (MiND). They will also visit and work with our international partners (e.g., in Bangalore, India), including training / supporting research staff in these countries to collect cognitive data in patients with dementia. Applicants should be interested in working on global health research in dementia.
The position is full-time and available to start immediately, fixed-term until 30 September 2019.
