Applications are invited for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Officer (PDRO) to undertake exciting new research on phosphorus buffering capacity as part of a new project entitled ‘The Role of Phosphorus in the Resilience and Sustainability of the UK Food System’. This is one of two PDRO posts being advertised (the other being in phosphorus accounting in catchments – post reference BU01514).
The successful candidate will join a strong interdisciplinary team including Bangor University, the Agri-Food and Bioscience Institute (AFBI), the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology (CEH) Wallingford, Leeds University and the University of Technology Sydney.
The candidate should have completed, or be approaching completion of a PhD in an appropriate area of catchment hydrology, biogeochemistry, or environmental science.
The post is for 36 months and the expected start date is the 1st January 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter.
