Job Description

This post requires a highly motivated person to undertake research tasks on a Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC)-funded post in solar atmospheric physics. The PDRA will be a member of the Solar System Physics research group within the Physics Department at Aberystwyth, under the direct supervision of Dr Huw Morgan (Head of Group).

The post holder will provide expertise in the analysis and interpretation of solar atmospheric measurements mainly in the extreme ultraviolet range. In particular, the project involves the development and application of a new method called time-normalized-optical-flow, which reveals the faintest propagating flows in the solar atmosphere.
