Applications are invited for a permanent, part-time Teaching Associate in the School of Natural Sciences. The successful candidate will be a motivated teaching associate who will contribute to the postgraduate teaching of forestry and tropical forestry by Distance Learning. They will join an active and enthusiastic group of academics and will also have the opportunity to undertake teaching in field settings. The candidate will join a dynamic team passionate about quality teaching and pastoral support and will be involved in the development of Distance Learning within the University, school and college.
Applicants should have a track-record of teaching at taught postgraduate levels and have a PhD (or be near to completion) in a relevant subject such as international forestry, social forestry, forest economics, forest policy, natural resource management, agroforestry. The successful candidate will be expected to complement and enhance our existing areas of expertise and develop projects for postgraduate and undergraduate research.
The successful candidate will be expected to commence on 1 September 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.
