The Wales Optometry Postgraduate Education Centre is looking for a part-time Lecturer to join their team to act as Training and Accreditation Manager for the department. The successful role holder will deliver high quality teaching at a postgraduate level and have responsibility for the education, training, accreditation and re-accreditation programme for the Eye Health Examination Service Wales (EHEW) on behalf of the Welsh Government.
 
They will be responsible for enhancing our regional approach to EHEW training; linking to the Wales Accreditation Tutors, Regional Optical Committees and various Health Boards. They will independently develop and expanding the training/education portfolio in this area of WOPEC; conducting lectures and designing teaching materials for adult postgraduate learners, as appropriate. 
 
Experience of teaching at a Higher Education level is essential.

This post is part time at 3 days (21 hours) per week, fixed term for a period of 8 months. The successful candidate must be available to start mid December 2017.
