Salary: £38,183 – £42,955 per annum pro rata
Tenure: Fixed Term Contract until 31 July 2018 or until the post holder returns, whichever date is sooner

This job description is indicative, not prescriptive, and the balance of duties will be in accordance with the contract of employment.
The successful candidate will be required to provide a high quality student experience in all aspects of their work. This will include the design and delivery of innovative and engaging modules, commitment to the personal tutoring role and providing supervisory support.
The major commitment will be to teach and assess undergraduate students in the areas of English and Creative Writing, including the delivery of lectures, workshops and tutorials. It is anticipated that the post-holder’s duties will include teaching and assessment on the following modules: Reading Literature, Narratives, Identities and Place, Urban and Contemporary Writing, Writing Poetry and Digital Media Publishing. The post-holder will undertake undergraduate dissertation supervision, where appropriate.
