The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences is looking to recruit an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager on a part-time basis to support the School in the areas of Safety, Health and Environment and risk assessment, providing specialist advice, guidance and support to colleagues in the School, and leading projects within these areas under the direction of the Head of School and/or School Manager.  The Health, Safety & Environment Manager’s responsibilities will encompass the Departmental Safety Officer role and, as such, the post holder will be accountable to the Head of School for ensuring the School’s compliance with UK SHE legislation and standards and relevant University regulations.  We welcome applications from graduates with a relevant life or natural sciences degree, experience of working in a laboratory environment and an appropriate specialist health and safety qualification.
This post is part-time (21 hours a week) and is open ended, with a requirement that hours worked will be spread over a minimum of 4 days per week.

Salary: £32,548 – £38,833 per annum, pro rata for hours worked (Grade 6)
