University of Edinburgh – Architecture and Landscape Architecture

Applications are invited for the post of Teaching Fellow in Architectural Humanities within the Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture [ESALA].

The post has a focus and responsibility for the teaching of architectural theory and humanities mainly to undergraduate students in our professionally accredited architecture programmes. The work will involve the preparation and delivery of courses within an overall course and programme framework. It will also involve contributions to teaching and assessment of Year 1 and Year 2 Architectural History and design courses, supervision of undergraduate dissertations and other work undertaken by the wider staff complement in ESALA such as the Studies in Contemporary Architectural Theory seminar course in the March. It will involve full participation in course and programme administration.

This is a part time (21 hours each week), fixed term post available from 1st September 2017 to 1st August 2018
