We are seeking a professional, highly motivated and organised individual, with a commitment to excellent customer service, to join us as a full-time Student Mobility Officer, supporting the University’s internationalization agenda. In particular, the role-holder will support our Study Abroad programmes, and the associated student experience and partner relations.
You will be passionate about the enhancement of student experience and programmes delivered in collaboration with other institutions in the UK and overseas. You will enjoy working with students to ensure they are appropriately prepared and supported for studying abroad, and be committed to providing an excellent welcome and service to our visiting students from across the world.
You will have experience of working in a busy, customer-focused environment, and be committed to enhancing our service to students, staff and external contacts worldwide. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible approach, enabling you to provide a tailored service to all of our stakeholders. You will also have a keen eye for detail and enjoy working with colleagues and partners on complex institutional frameworks to support a diverse range of international activities.
You will be confident at working to tight deadlines and at prioritising operational activities, demonstrating the highest levels of problem solving. In addition, you will be interested in working with a number of University policies and systems, and contributing to projects to ensure our services are streamlined, effective and customer-focused.
This post is fixed term to provide maternity cover starting 25 February 2019.
