Due to our rapid growth trajectory and ambitions for the future, we are seeking a range of talented individuals to augment our current staffing profile. One of our key strategic areas for appointment is in Scots Criminal.

The appointee will lead a research programme of international excellence and will lead the teaching programmes in relevant subject areas. They will contribute to the collegial, supportive and energetic research culture in the law school.

Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline, have a sustained track record of high quality published research, and of securing funding. Candidates should possess relevant teaching experience including experience of managing and developing large scale teaching programmes.

For this role, the appointment grade will be dependent on the skills and experience of the candidate.
