Job Description

We are seeking a research technician to provide support for the analysis of lipids and proteins in biological and clinical samples. The post-holder will prepare samples, assist in the development of analytical methods and operate mass spectrometer systems. This work will contribute to research focussed on diabetes, cardiovascular disease and neurodegenerative disorders.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have a background in analytical chemistry or a related field and will be a team player with a flexible approach. Experience in using HPLC or LC-MS systems would be an advantage.
