Job offer available in Scotland International Development Officer at University of Glasgow
To contribute to the implementation of the University of Glasgow’s fundraising and internationalisation strategies by identifying, cultivating and soliciting donations and other commitments from prospective mid-level and major international donors in identified priority markets. Develop trusted and professional relationships with potential international donors, building an understanding of their interests and their journeys towards major gift support; develop and articulate compelling arguments for support and match to donor interests. Take a holistic view of the alumni and donor relationship identifying opportunities for involvement in alumni engagement programmes, including those which support internationalisation objectives.
Salary will be on the Management, Professional and Administrative Grade, level 7, £35,210 – £39,610 per annum.
This post is offered as full time (35 hours per week) and on an open-ended basis.
New entrants to the University will be required to serve a probationary period of 6 months.
The successful applicant will be eligible to join the Universities’ Superannuation Scheme. Further information regarding the scheme is available from the Superannuation Officer, who is also prepared to advise on questions relating to the transfer of Superannuation benefits.
