As part of the expansion of our Transnational Educational Partnership programme, the School of Health Sciences is seeking to appoint QMU-based Lecturers to contribute to the programme management and quality assurance of our collaborative programmes that are delivered in Greece. Post-holders will contribute to the collaborative four-year undergraduate degree programmes in logopedics, occupational therapy, dietetics (one dietetics post and one biological sciences post) and physiotherapy (two posts). Some contribution to Masters level programmes may be required.
The posts will be based within the School of Health Sciences at our Musselburgh campus. The post-holders will work closely with programme teams at QMU and, at distance, with relevant colleagues based in Athens and Thessaloniki to ensure consistency of assessment, marking and feedback to students. In addition, post-holders will contribute to staff development and enhancement activities for our collaborative partners as well as contributing to the wider work of the QMU School of Health Sciences which may include learning, teaching and assessment at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and participation in research and knowledge exchange relevant to the level of expertise. Candidates must be bi-lingual in Greek and English, spoken and written.
Candidates should be educated to at least Master’s level with experience of teaching in one of the above areas within a UK higher education context. For the Allied Health Professional posts a related Allied Health Professional qualification is essential . Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills are required as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
