Job offer available in Scotland Finance Officer at The University of Edinburgh
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic financial administrator to manage the delivery of operational financial services across Edinburgh Law School.
The post holder will be a member of the School Office and will provide coordination and oversight of all financial and payroll administration and line manage the Finance and Payroll Administrative Assistant. The post holder will be responsible for budget monitoring and reporting and will undertake general financial duties to support operations including authorising expenses and payroll. They will also be required to provide financial management information and reports on the School’s finances.
The post holder will be responsible for ensuring effective local policies and procedures are developed, disseminated and adhered to School-wide and to manage the budget setting process and provision of a range of financial forecasts.
This role would suit a skilled financial administrator preferably with experience gained in the HE/not for profit sector. Applicants must provide a supporting statement explaining why they wish to be considered for the role and how their skills and experience match the requirements for this role.
This is a full time (35 hours per week), open ended position.
