An enthusiastic motivated individual who enjoys a varied role is needed to join a small team reporting to the Director of Clinical Services at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. You will be responsible for ensuring larger clinical projects are driven forward for all clinics and particularly will be responsible for ensuring the further implementation of the practice management system (PMS). The job holder will maximise the benefits of the existing system for the clinics and drive forward more efficient ways of working within the clinics.
You will be responsible for handling sensitive information and maintaining work management systems that facilitate the smooth operation of the hospitals. You will lead on any projects requiring significant clinical input and you will understand the needs of the clinics: both legally, educationally and commercially. You will have a high level of organisational and interpersonal skills and experience of working in a veterinary environment, ideally a referral environment. You will need to understand referral hospital workflow and have the ability to find solutions when there are competing interests. We need an enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised, manage deadlines and conduct multiple tasks.
