Grade: AFC7 (£35,065 – £41,709 from 1 August 2019) (Pro-rata NHS Agenda for Change salary based on the University’s 35 hour working week)

The University of Edinburgh’s highly regarded https://www.ed.ac.uk/sport-exercise/fasic” FASIC Sport & Exercise Medicine Clinic is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic advance practice physiotherapist to play a lead role in our sector-leading performance sport offer.

You will work as part of FASIC’s multi-disciplinary team alongside sports-specific coaches, strength & conditioning specialists and other support services, to develop and implement strategies to manage and prevent injury, and enhance performance with the University’s leading student athletes, supporting them to achieve success at the highest level.

This role requires working flexible hours, including morning and/or evening work Monday–Friday, occasional travel for training camps and competitions, and contributing to service provision in the main clinic.

Advanced clinical skills, experience of working in performance sport settings and a willingness to contribute as a team member are all pre-requisites of this exciting and unique position.

Closing date is Wednesday 26 June 2019 – 5pm, with interviews being held on Tuesday 2 July.
