Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the post of Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Applied Psychology in the Department of Government, Sociology and Social Work, The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, Barbados.
Applicants must possess a Doctorate in Psychology, an established record of publications in the field of Psychology and significant teaching experience at the tertiary level. They must also demonstrate leadership in guiding research at the postgraduate level and in the discipline generally. An excellent knowledge of Psychology of the Caribbean and research experience in the region would be a distinct advantage.
The successful applicant will be required to teach courses in Social Psychology, Developmental Psychology and Research Methods in Psychology.
The successful applicant will be expected to assume duties by August 1, 2019 or as soon as possible thereafter.
