The Research Associate will be based at Cantaro Azul in Chiapas, Mexico (NGO partner organization for the SAFEWATER project). The post-holder will work as part of a transdisciplinary research team focused on implementing technologies for the disinfection of drinking water in rural communities in Mexico and demonstrating the related impacts. 

(12 months fixed term)

SAFEWATER is an interdisciplinary research project led by Ulster University, in collaboration with the University of Medellin and CTA in Colombia, the University of Sao Paulo in Brazil, and Fundación Cantaro Azul in Mexico.

This project is funded by the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) of UKRI (Grant Ref: EP/P032427/1).
