Qualifications and Experience 

The successful candidate must possess a Doctoral degree in Statistics with:

  • Practical application of statistical principles and analytical methods in SPSS and/or MINITAB and STATA software
  • Practical experience in developing and writing statistical analysis plans for research in basic and clinical sciences
  • Considerable academic teaching and research experience

Special Responsibilities

  • Teaching medical students at the undergraduate and graduate level

  • A demonstrated ability to successfully plan work against established deadlines, including managing, monitoring and maintaining clinical projects and conference/meeting abstract deadlines
  • A reasonable record of research and publication
  • The ability to relate well with colleagues and support staff
