The agency is made up of c.1300 staff working across two main centres and peripatetically across the UK and abroad.
We are looking for a Talent and Learning Assistant to join our professional and friendly Talent and Learning (T&L) Team within the HR department. Reporting to the T&L Advisor, the purpose of this role is to support the T&L team in the daily co-ordination of its activities. The T&L Assistant will have primary responsibility for managing the Learning and Development inbox, handling the administration of courses through the Agency’s Learning Management System (Taleo Learn) and managing arrangements for visiting training facilitators, amongst other administrative duties.
In this role, you will use your organisational skills to oversee all logistics for training courses, e.g. booking rooms and refreshments and meeting and greeting training facilitators. Following training courses, you will administer training evaluations, including running reports from the Civil Service Learning website. You will be responsible for keeping up to date records using Taleo Learn and you will also assist the T&L advisor in the administration of learning budgets and training contracts.
As well as the ability to prioritise effectively and produce work of a high standard of accuracy, you will have great communication skills, as you will signpost individuals to the information they need. You will be used to working autonomously and proactively and using your judgement to escalate enquiries or issues appropriately.
This is a fixed term post that we anticipate will be required for 6 months.
